Beth Jarosz is a senior research associate in PRB’s United States Programs. She oversees PRB's work with the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health to support their KidsData.org website. She analyzes data from various state and national surveys and other data sources with a focus on subnational population growth trends and on health and wellbeing. Prior to joining PRB Ms. Jarosz taught sociology at Pensacola State College. Her demographics career began in 2001 at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) where she managed the annual small-area population and housing estimates program and the long-range forecast. She completed her master’s degree in Demographic and Social Analysis at the University of California, Irvine. Her publications include research on best practices in data management, local demographic trends, and unique population estimation and forecasting techniques.
